Job Description
- Oversee, manage and report plant operations to ensure they align with organizational targets.
- Emphasize plant efficiency, product quality, adherence to ISO and environmental procedures.
- Prioritize cost control and budget adherence in daily production.
- Ensure that plant cleanliness and logistical movements are well-managed.
- Guarantee that all product outputs meet specifications and promptly address any quality issues with shift executives and supervisors.
- Maintain compliance with food safety standards, ISO 9001, Halal certifications, SOPs, and customer audits. Regularly update corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Cooperate with the production planner to ensure the production plan runs smoothly.
- Manage manpower effectively and control overtime.
- Provide cross-training to supervisors and operators, and manage SAP system training.
- Promote safety awareness and standards through employee training.
- Collaborate closely with HSE to ensure alignment with standards and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Monitor daily operations, stock movements, and performance metrics.
- Prepare summary reports for meetings and implement performance measurements.
- Collaborate with maintenance to reduce downtime, manage safety protocols, and address emergency breakdowns promptly.
- Ensure all waste management complies with government regulations.
Job/Skills Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing /Chemical/Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field from recognized universities with minimum CGPA 3.0.
- Minimum 7 years of working experience in vegetable oils & fats industry.
- Experience in refinery and fractionation, which is more preferable.
- Knowledge on SAP is an advantage.
