Plant Process Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the processing plant based on planning according to SOP, guidelines and parameter quality control using PC-SCADA system monitoring.
• Operating plant in optimum running condition with minimum operating cost.
• To carry out routine checking storage tank level, temperature and oil movement to prevent spillage, overflow or product contamination during the run.
• Execute daily condition inspection for equipment & machinery in the plant.
• Recording all parameter controls, oil quantity, quality and utilities flowmeter reading in log sheet periodically.
• Ensure all plant equipment are always in clean and good condition.
• To perform other duties as and when required or requested by the supervisor including cleaning and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher or Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related disciplines).
• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in palm oil, refinery, or FMCG industries.
• Experience in the edible oil and fats industry will be an added advantage.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Willing and able to work on shift rotation (3-shift or 2-shift system).
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
