Recently FGV IFFCO, in collaboration with Majlis Bandaraya Diraja Klang (MBDK), organized an impactful “MOTIVATION ALL OUT SPM 2024” programme as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, held at Dewan Sukan Pandamaran. This initiative, designed to inspire and equip students with the tools needed to excel in their SPM exams, highlights FGV IFFCO’s steadfast commitment to empowering communities through education. The event was officiated by Pn. Norfiza, Director of Corporate Communications at MBDK and attended by En. Ruzain Syukur, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, Counseling and Career Unit at the Selangor State Education Department (JPNS).
At FGV IFFCO, sustainability is integral to our core values, encompassing a strong commitment to social responsibility. This programme aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4: Quality Education. By focusing on students from the B40 community, this initiative delivers essential support to empower them in their preparation for the SPM exams.
A total of 200 students from six local schools, including Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Raja Lumu, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tengku Ampuan Jemaah, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (P) Raja Zarina, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato Hamzah, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pandamaran Jaya, and Sekolah Agama Menengah Tinggi Sultan Hisamuddin, participated in this enriching programme. In addition, FGV IFFCO extended donations to each of the schools to further support their educational initiatives and enhance learning resources.
The motivational talk facilitated by Amin Idris from Akademik Magnet Sukses, with support from FGV IFFCO staff volunteers, the session centered around motivational techniques aimed at stress management, mental and physical well-being, effective study strategies, boosting student’s confidence and readiness for exam success.
Last but certainly not least, to motivational guidance FGV IFFCO sponsored 188 hours of free educational classes through MCPLUS, covering exam strategies, scoring techniques, and psychological approaches to answering questions. This reflects our dedication to empowering underserved students and ensuring they have access to the resources needed to succeed academically, contributing to their long-term development and communities.
