Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations and disciplinary matters, including investigations, counselling, warning letters, and Domestic Inquiry (DI)
- Handle employee grievances, workplace conflicts, and misconduct cases professionally and fairly.
- Provide guidance to line managers on employee relations and disciplinary issues.
- Support union-management engagement and assist in Collective Agreement (CA) administration.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and employment regulations.
- Prepare reports, maintain proper documentation, and support HR compliance activities.
- Organize employee engagement and welfare initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Law, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR).
- Familiar with Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and Trade Unions Act.
- Experience in handling disciplinary cases, investigations, employee grievances, and Domestic Inquiry (DI).
- Good communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and report-writing skills.
- Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Added Advantage
- Experience in Union Management and Collective Agreement (CA) administration.
- Exposure to Labor Department, Industrial Relations Department, or Industrial Court matters.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
