Traceability & Supply Chain

Palm Oil Traceability Dashboard

Traceability in business operations, especially within supply chains, is a critical aspect of corporate responsibility. It ensures that companies can verify the origin of raw materials, monitor the environmental and social impact of their sourcing practices, and maintain compliance with sustainability standards. By prioritizing traceability, the Group not only adhere to the Sustainability Policy but also contribute to broader efforts against deforestation, peatland development, and human rights abuses. This commitment to continuous improvement in traceability reflects a dedication to ethical practices and a recognition of the importance of sustainability in long-term business success.

To ensure our palm products are sourced from responsible sources, we started to trace our raw materials in 2017. Our traceability covers Traceability to Mills (TTM) and Traceability to Plantations (TTP).

We consider mills traceable when details such as their name, parent company’s name, address /GPS coordinate, and volume supplied are known. Our TTM has been at 100% for our facility whereas our TTP is at 92% for year 2024 . FGV IFFCO is committed to achieve 100% TTP by year 2026 to uphold our commitment to NDPE. The complete list of the suppliers are available here.

NDPE IRF Verification

Since 2021, FGV IFFCO has been utilizing the NDPE Implementation Reporting Framework (NDPE IRF) tool to:
  •  Monitor progress towards ending deforestation in our palm supply chain
  •  Identify and address implementation gaps
  •  Ensure NDPE compliance and supplier commitments across the supply chain

The data provided by mills has been confirmed and verified by a Certified Body (except for the year 2023, where the report was prepared based on Protocol Version 6.0). Results are categorized according to the requirements of the NDPE IRF Verification Protocol.

Below are our latest results on deforestation and peat progress
